Medicare Rebates

Our consultations are supported by Medicare when you have a referral, in the form of a Mental Health Care Plan, from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. With the Mental Health Care Plan, you are entitled to 10 consultations in a calendar year. You must obtain your GP referral prior to your first appointment in order to receive Medicare rebates.On payment of your consultation your rebate will be electronically processed and rebate funds are usually reimbursed by Medicare within 24 hours.

Other Referral Sources

Individuals may access therapy sessions under other referral such as:

• Suffering a work-related injury or illness: please contact Workcover, your GP and/or your employer
• Private health insurance: please speak to your health fund provider about your eligibility
• Employee Assistance Program: please speak to Human Resources at your workplace
• NDIS: please contact the National Disability Insurance Scheme for further information
